What's Covered<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n<p>MG Floor Supply warrants that, under normal residential or light\ncommercial use and when installed and maintained in accordance with our\nofficial <a href=\"\/hy\/install-instruction\/\">Install\nInstructions<\/a> and any applicable Care &amp; Maintenance guidance, our\nSPC and WPC flooring will be free from verified manufacturing defects\nin:<\/p>\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>The structural integrity of the core material<\/li>\n<li>The factory click-locking profile<\/li>\n<li>Premature wear-layer delamination<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<p>for the duration of the applicable tier shown above, measured from\nthe date of original purchase.<\/p>\n\n\n<h3><strong>1.A Wear-Through\nWarranty<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n<p>This warranty applies strictly to the wear layer itself. For a claim\nto be validated, the factory wear layer must be worn completely through\nto the underlying structural core, over an area of at least one (1)\nsquare inch. Gloss reduction, surface scratching, micro-gouging, or\ngradual sheen\/color change over time are natural, expected occurrences\nand are not considered product failures or defects.<\/p>\n\n\n<h3><strong>1.B Products\nExcluded from This Warranty<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n<p>This Limited Warranty does not apply to Product that has been sold,\nlabeled, or otherwise designated as \u201cseconds,\u201d \u201cmill-run,\u201d \u201ccloseouts,\u201d\n\u201cclearance,\u201d \u201cas-is,\u201d or other non-standard\/irregular grade. Purchase of\nsuch Product constitutes acceptance of its condition and grade as-is,\nand no manufacturing-defect or wear claim will be honored for it.<\/p>\n\n\n<h2><strong>2. Installation\nRequirement<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n<p>To keep the applicable Manufacturing Defect and Wear-Through warranty\nterms intact, flooring must be installed in full compliance with our\nofficial <a href=\"\/hy\/install-instruction\/\">Install\nInstructions<\/a>, including any specified subfloor preparation,\nmoisture\/vapor barrier requirements, acclimation period, and expansion\ngap allowances.<\/p>\n\n\n<p>As a material supplier, MG Floor Supply is not responsible for\ninstallation workmanship or labor-related issues. Any damage, defect, or\nperformance issue \u2014 regardless of its nature or appearance, and\nregardless of when it appears \u2014 is not covered if the root cause is\ninstallation not performed in strict accordance with our official\nInstall Instructions, unless independently verified to result from a\nmanufacturing defect in the material itself. This applies regardless of\nwho performed the installation (professional installer, contractor, or\nDIY).<\/p>\n\n\n<p>Installation of any flooring material constitutes the Customer's\nacceptance of its aesthetic quality, shade, and physical grade as\ndelivered. Claims based on shade or grade variation discovered after\ninstallation of the affected material will not be honored.<\/p>\n\n\n<h2><strong>3. What's Not Covered<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n<p>In addition to the exclusions above, this Limited Warranty does not\ncover damage or performance issues caused by or related to:<\/p>\n\n\n<h3><strong>Site &amp; Substrate\nConditions<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Subfloor movement, moisture intrusion, or site conditions not\naddressed by our installation guidelines<\/li>\n<li>Concrete substrate issues (moisture, flatness, porosity) not\ntested and remediated prior to installation<\/li>\n<li>Structural movement, seismic activity, or building\nsettling<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<h3><strong>Environmental\nConditions<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Direct or prolonged sunlight\/UV exposure, which naturally\naccelerates surface oxidation and can cause color change or fading over\ntime; furniture and rugs should be rotated periodically to reduce uneven\nexposure<\/li>\n<li>Relative humidity outside the 35\u201355% range, or failure to\nmaintain stable indoor humidity; minor seasonal gapping or surface\nchecking related to normal humidity fluctuation is expected and not a\ndefect<\/li>\n<li>Excessive heat sources, including prolonged direct sunlight,\nradiators, self-cleaning ovens, or other high-heat equipment or\nappliances<\/li>\n<li>Exposure to standing water, flooding, sewer backup, or other\nwater-related emergencies<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<h3><strong>Use, Load &amp; Wear<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Normal wear and tears, surface scratches, scuffing, or dulling\nfrom ordinary foot traffic<\/li>\n<li>Heavy static point loads (furniture\/fixture feet or rests\nexceeding recommended limits) or concentrated loads such as stiletto\nheels, cleats, or dropped objects that do not make adequate, flat\ncontact with the floor<\/li>\n<li>Heavy rolling loads or hard\/metal wheel casters that do not make\nadequate, flat contact with the floor covering<\/li>\n<li>Damage from misuse, negligence, abuse, or improper cleaning\nproducts\/chemicals not specified in our Care &amp; Maintenance\nguidance<\/li>\n<li>Excessive dirt, grit, or abrasive debris tracked in without\nadequate walk-off mats at exterior entrances<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<h3><strong>Other<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Natural color, sheen, or grain variation between production\nbatches, dye-lots, or between physical samples and the installed\nproduct<\/li>\n<li>Fire, acts of God, natural disasters, or other circumstances\nbeyond the Manufacturer's reasonable control<\/li>\n<li>Any third-party adhesive not specified in our Install\nInstructions, and any bond, shrinkage, curling, or dimensional issues\narising from its use<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<h3><strong>No Slip-Resistance\nWarranty<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n<p>MG Floor Supply makes no warranty, express or implied, regarding the\nslip resistance of this Product. Slip-and-fall risk is affected by many\nfactors outside the Manufacturer's control \u2014 including floor\ncontaminants, footwear, foot traffic, and individual user\ncharacteristics \u2014 and no coefficient-of-friction or similar performance\nvalue is guaranteed under this warranty.<\/p>\n\n\n<h2><strong>4. Claims Process<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n<p>To file a warranty claim, contact your sales representative or email\n<a href=\"mailto:sales@mgflooring.com\">sales@mgflooring.com<\/a>\nwithin thirty (30) days of discovering the issue. Please include:<\/p>\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Your original purchase invoice<\/li>\n<li>A written description of the issue<\/li>\n<li>Clear photographic or video evidence of the affected\narea<\/li>\n<li>Any relevant maintenance or cleaning product records, if the\nissue could relate to care practices<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<p>Our team will evaluate the claim and may require an on-site\ninspection, additional testing, or documentation of the substrate and\ninstallation conditions prior to approving coverage. Uninstalled or\ninstalled planks should not be discarded or altered prior to our review\n\u2014 doing so may void the claim, and Customer should retain a minimum of\n3\u20134 uninstalled planks in original packaging when available.\nInstallation of a plank after a defect is discovered constitutes full\nacceptance of that material and waives any related claim.<\/p>\n\n\n<p>If a claim is approved, MG Floor Supply will, at its sole discretion,\nrepair, replace, or refund the applicable portion of the Product's\noriginal purchase price for the affected area \u2014 this is the sole remedy\navailable under this warranty, limited to one (1) replacement or\nresolution per claimed defect. If the original style has been\ndiscontinued, we will supply the most similar available item from\ncurrent inventory in comparable color, design, and grade, where\navailable.<\/p>\n\n\n<h2><strong>5. Limitation of\nLiability<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n<p>This warranty constitutes the exclusive remedy against MG Floor\nSupply for defects, damage, and material failures arising from this\nsale. There are no implied warranties beyond the express terms set forth\nherein.<\/p>\n\n\n<p>MG Floor Supply is not liable for incidental, indirect, special, or\nconsequential damages of any kind, including but not limited to lost\nprofits, temporary housing or relocation costs, and removal or damage to\nmoldings, baseboards, cabinets, built-in appliances, carpeting, drywall,\nwallpaper, paint, or any labor\/reinstallation costs associated with\nrepair or replacement of the flooring.<\/p>\n\n\n<p>Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or\nconsequential damages, or limitations on how long an implied warranty\nlasts, so the above limitations may not apply to you. This warranty\ngives you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights that vary\nfrom state to state. Unless a statement in this document is specifically\nidentified as a warranty, any other statements made by MG Floor Supply\nor its sellers are not warranties and are not part of the basis of the\nbargain for this sale.<\/p>\n\n\n<h2><strong>6. Governing Law<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n<p>This Warranty Statement is governed by the laws of the State of\nIllinois, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
